PROOF OF LIFE...
Thought I would post something in defense of the theory that I am NOT a miserable wretch. At least not in the field of comics production. Well at least not as badly as has been said in the past...
Here are some in progress pages, worked on as fresh as last week. The revised and tightened outline and notes has this going on into the 50's as far as episode count, so we're only nearing the halfway. The last half is going to be a blast to draw.
On that topic I have a new illustration in this weeks Phoenix I am pleased with. Check it out HERE!
Also, I have a very fun and very laborious job on the table right now that I am having a great time doing and the results are going to be fantastic as well I feel. More on that later, and sketches and so on. Naturally it means the comics take a hit, but it's a job comic people might like so...coming soon.

More warmups and inking tests...

A quick update, something noticed, and something done about it...
First and foremost I am sitting down and beginning to rule out some panels on new Phantom Skull pages. It will still be a while, but they're on the way. Secondly, I realized I haven't posted any sketchbook stuff in a long, long time. Below are some warm up sketches I've done the last few days. Every single one of them lays claim to being the least original, or most derivative art work ever. You decide. One I think is actually a college mascot.
It's semi public knowledge now, but my infinitely better half Jess and I are expecting twin boys around the end of June, so things here are joyfully hectic. I dropped a long term project, and am trying to simplify my work life a great deal. The Phantom Skull is a big part of that. And some other comics. I recently cut a rough animatic out of the first episode of the Phantom Skull, that I am itching to animate. More on that later I guess.
