As mentioned in the last few posts, Friday the 29th was the opening reception of Honolulu Dogfight and The Illuminated Eye at Space 242 here in Boston. It was my first ever gallery show, and a solo one at that. It went off extremely well, and I can't thank everyone who helped out, showed up and hung out enough. I especially couldn't have done it without the support of the lovely Jessica Willis. I am truly a lucky guy. Aron Ahlstrom came up with his better half Alana, and managed to do a damn fine job documenting things via camera. Here are his pictures and you can see more of his photography at flickr.com/photos/hominyjones.
thanks,
George
UPDATE!
For anyone interested in seeing the exhibit throughout the next month, the space will be open at the following times
Saturday, March 8, 3-5pm
Friday, March 14, 6:30-8pm
You can also probably email the gallery to set something up if needed.

Nice rug rat too.

Your show was/is absolutely wonderful. The gallery space at Space 242 is perfect for displaying the items that you recently produced, as evidenced by the photos you posted from the reception.
I enjoyed the opportunity to meet you and to experience your work as a collective whole before it disperses to private collections at the conclusion of this show.
Good job George!
