While "It's been a while since my last post" may be the siren call of the artistic blogger, it applies here all the same. That said, I can now post some of what has been keeping me away from here for the past couple of months. This link here...

TV Commercial

...will take you to the first of four television commercials I've been making for Fox Sports Northwest. The one posted here will be making it's debut tomorrow during the pre-game show, and will be accompanied by a making of short film type thing I believe. The advertising agency sent their art director ( and an old friend by the by ) out to shoot some video and ask questions as I worked on these spots, but I can't say how much of that will make it into the show. It's been a lot of fun working on these things. They gave me the concepts and scripts and I've done all the rest, using Flash, Painter and a little Photoshop.
The second spot is animated and going through some audio stuff right now and I should be able to put it up soon as well. Now, two more to make, and then finish up some other stuff I shouldn't blab about.
I have been scribbling away in the ol'sketchbook, so I'll get back to posting that stuff again soon.
Let me know what you think, and thanks.
George

Microphones for bodies!
whoa.
I should watch more baseball.

Loved the background in the ferry shot, the big brushstroke sky.

Do they give you an audio track that you build over/around? Forgive my ignorance here. Can you embed Flash animation on Blogger?

Hows the family?

Congrats GP! Hope you're stowing away the greenbacks on these spots!
Nice work!
